ad hominem

nounC2Not compared — the two pools are counted one word at a time, so a phrase has no score

An ad hominem is an attack on the person instead of their argument. Resort to ad hominem.

It is a fallacy because a bad person can still be right about something. There is one honest use, since pointing out that somebody is paid by an interested party is relevant.
