binge-watch

verbB2leans spoken

Other forms: binge-watching

To binge-watch is to watch many episodes one after another. Binge-watch the series, binge-watched it in a weekend, binge-watching again.

The word arrived with streaming, since releasing a whole series at once made it possible. Programmes are now written for it, with the cliffhanger placed to make stopping harder than continuing.
