Other forms: ccs
To cc somebody is to send them a copy of a message as well. Cc me in, cc the manager, put her on cc.
It is one of the small political instruments of office life: who is cc'd on an email says who is being kept informed and, often, who is being warned. Bcc sends a copy without the other recipients seeing it, which is either courteous or underhand depending entirely on the case. Note that cc stands for carbon copy, from the sheet of carbon paper that made a duplicate as you typed.
1verbccTo send somebody a copy of a message as well.
“Can you cc me on the email you send to the client?”
