Cyprus is the eastern Mediterranean island of beaches and ancient legends of love. Fly to Cyprus, born in Cyprus, the north of Cyprus.

It has been divided since 1974, with a United Nations buffer zone running through the capital, Nicosia — the last divided capital in Europe. In myth it is where Aphrodite came ashore, and the island was famous for copper, which is where the metal's name comes from.
