echo chamber

nounC1Not compared — the two pools are counted one word at a time, so a phrase has no score

An echo chamber is a space where you hear only your own opinions back. Stuck in an echo chamber, a political echo chamber, break out of the echo chamber.

It differs from a filter bubble by being chosen, since people build an echo chamber by following those who agree rather than by an algorithm doing it for them. The literal one is a room built for reverberation in a recording studio.
