guacamole

US/ˌɡwɑ.kəˈmol.i/
nounB1+Common in everyday speech and writing · #7,976 of 15,258leans spoken

Guacamole is a green dip mashed from a stone fruit with lime. Make guacamole, a bowl of guacamole, guacamole and chips.

The lime is not only for flavour — the acid slows the browning, which is why it goes in first. Leaving the stone in does nothing. The name is from Nahuatl and means avocado sauce, and the avocado half of it meant testicle.
