Guttural means harsh and produced deep in the throat. A guttural voice, guttural sounds, guttural and low.
In phonetics it is a loose term for consonants made at the back of the mouth, and linguists avoid it because it is imprecise and because it is so often used to disparage other people's languages. Of a voice it means rasping. Note that the Latin guttur means the throat.
