Netball is a team game of passing and shooting into a raised ring. Play netball, a netball court, the netball team.

There is no dribbling and no running with the ball, so the whole game is passing into space, and each player is restricted to part of the court by position. It grew out of early basketball and is played mostly by women in Commonwealth countries.
