Poland is the central European country of Warsaw and Kraków. Travel to Poland, born in Poland, the Polish border.

It has been erased from the map and restored more than once — partitioned out of existence for over a century from 1795, and remade after each world war. Warsaw's old town was rebuilt from paintings and photographs after 1945. Polish is the language, and the Polish community is among the largest migrant groups in Britain. Note Polish as the adjective and Pole as the demonym.
