Sweden is the Nordic country of Stockholm and flat-pack furniture. Travel to Sweden, made in Sweden, the Swedish coast.

It is the largest Nordic country, mostly forest, with the great majority of its people in the south. It stayed out of both world wars and out of NATO until 2024. Swedish is the language, and English is very widely spoken. Note Swede as the demonym and Swedish as the adjective; and that the swede, the root vegetable, is named after the country.
