Other forms: tiaras
A tiara is a jewelled band worn on the head by a woman. Wear a tiara, a diamond tiara, the family tiara.
It is a half circle rather than a full one, which is what separates it from a crown or a coronet. British etiquette holds that they are worn only by married women and only after six in the evening, which tells you something about the world that made the rule.
