togo

Togo is one of Africa's narrowest countries, between Ghana and Benin. Travel to Togo, born in Togo, the north of Togo.

It is a strip about a hundred kilometres wide and five hundred long, with a short coast and a long reach inland — a shape drawn by colonial partition rather than by anything on the ground. Lome, the capital, sits right on the border with Ghana.
