Other forms: wineries
A winery is a place where wine is made. Visit a winery, a family winery, the winery tour.
It is the American and Australian word; France says domaine or chateau, and Britain mostly borrows whichever fits. A winery need not own vineyards at all, since many buy grapes in and make the wine on site.
