Agile means quick and light on your feet. An agile climber, agile mind, remarkably agile.
It is about changing direction rather than raw speed, which is why agility and speed are trained separately. Of a mind it means quick to turn. Capitalised in software, Agile names a set of methods for working in short iterations, and the word is now used far more in offices than in gymnasiums. Note that the Latin means able to move.
