Other forms: coordinators
A coordinator is somebody who makes separate parts work together. A project coordinator, event coordinator, appoint a coordinator.
The job is nearly all communication: a coordinator usually has no authority over the people involved and works by keeping everybody informed of what everybody else is doing. It is a common job title in events, care and research. Note coordinate; and that the word is co- plus a root meaning to order, so it means ordering things together.
