Other forms: deodorants
Deodorant is what you put under your arms to stop sweat smelling. Roll-on deodorant, use deodorant, deodorant spray.
Sweat itself has almost no smell — bacteria on the skin produce it — so a deodorant works against the bacteria while an antiperspirant blocks the sweat with aluminium salts. The two are different products often sold as one. The Latin odor means a smell.
