Other forms: marquees
A marquee is a large tent for an event, or a theatre's front sign. Hire a marquee, the wedding marquee, in lights on the marquee.
In Britain a marquee is the tent put up for a wedding or a fair. In America it is the illuminated sign over a cinema or theatre, which is why an American marquee name means a star big enough to put on it.
