Other forms: octogenarians

An octogenarian is somebody between eighty and ninety years old. A sprightly octogenarian, octogenarians and older, still working as an octogenarian.

The whole family of these words counts by decade, so a nonagenarian is in the nineties and a centenarian has reached a hundred. There is no ordinary word for the seventies apart from septuagenarian, which almost nobody uses.
