Satisfaction is the quiet good feeling of having got what you wanted. Not delight — contentment, with the job done.
It takes in or with, and it appears constantly in business language, since customer satisfaction is measured and job satisfaction is what people say they want more than money. There is a formal legal sense about debts being satisfied. And there is a duelling sense in demanding satisfaction, which meant a challenge. The verb satisfy also means to meet a requirement rather than to please.
