A waltzer is a fairground ride of spinning tubs. Ride the waltzer, the waltzer at the fair, spun on the waltzer.
The cars run round an undulating track while spinning freely, and an operator runs along the moving floor to spin them faster by hand. It is one of the few rides where a person, not a machine, decides how bad it gets.
