Conveniently means in a way that suits your needs and saves trouble. Conveniently placed, conveniently forgot, conveniently located.
The second of those is the interesting one: conveniently forgot is a sneer, and putting the word in front of a verb accuses somebody of arranging their memory. It is one of the most quietly loaded adverbs in the language.
