Currently means at this present time. Currently unavailable, currently working on it, currently about four.
It is a hedge as much as a fact: currently unavailable means it might be available later and probably will not. It goes before the main verb or after the auxiliary. Note current, both the adjective and the noun for a flow of water or electricity; and that at present, presently and currently all cover the same ground with presently doing so ambiguously, which is why currently is often the safer word.
