Cycling is the sport of riding a two-wheeler fast and far. Road cycling, go cycling, cycling club.
Road racing is decided almost entirely by drafting: a rider in a group spends far less energy than one alone, which is why the sport looks like cooperation until the last kilometre. Cycling is also one of the most efficient ways a human can travel, more so than walking. Note cyclist; and that the sport and the commute share a word.
