Other forms: cyclists
A cyclist is somebody who rides a pedal vehicle. A keen cyclist, cyclists on the road, a lone cyclist.
The word is neutral but the arguments around it are not, and cyclist is used in traffic disputes as if it named a tribe rather than a person on a bike. In racing it is the standard term for the athlete.
