Financial means to do with money and how it is managed. Financial advice, a financial year, financially secure.
The financial year rarely matches the calendar one — it starts in April in Britain and in October for the American government, which is why budget news arrives at odd times. Regulated financial advice is a legal category rather than a compliment.
