Inspirational means filling people with the urge to act or create. An inspirational teacher, inspirational quotes, truly inspirational.
The word is worn thin by overuse in advertising and on posters. Disabled writers have also objected to inspirational used of ordinary lives, since being called inspirational for simply existing is not the compliment it sounds.
